Pepper has a heart full of love and an eagerness to connect with everyone she meets. When you offer a gentle touch, she'll lean right into your hand, clearly soaking up every moment of affection. She thrives in the company of both dogs and cats, happily sharing her foster home with both. Whether she's the cherished only pet or part of a multipet household, Pepper's adaptable nature will shine through!

While toys might not be her primary passion, Pepper absolutely loves Kongs filled with peanut butter, especially when they're frozen! And when it comes to treats, she's an enthusiastic connoisseur — she's never met one she didn't like!

You'll be delighted to know that Pepper is already crate trained and housebroken, making for a smooth transition into her new home. While she's generally quiet, you'll hear her adorable, unique "woofs" when she anticipates mealtime — a charming quirk her foster parents lovingly refer to as her "spicy" side, even calling her "Miss Spicy"!

Pepper is a quick learner, highly motivated by treats, and eager to please, making her a joy to train. Attending a group obedience class with Pepper will be a fantastic opportunity to bond and watch her confidence blossom! She's looking for a forever home where she can spend her golden years feeling cherished and secure.

A Note on Pepper's Health: Pepper recently completed heartworm treatment. While her heart is on the mend, The Furever Project will continue covering all medical costs associated with her heartworm treatment until she gets a clean bill of health (negative heartworm results). Until she is clear of heartworms, she can be adopted under a foster-to-adopt contract.
